Reconstitution Instructions

Reconstitute with Bacteriostatic Water for Injection (BWFI). Maintain aseptic technique. Do not use non-sterile water.

Option 1: 10 mL BWFI → 50 mg/mL

Volume DrawnNAD+ Dose
1 mL50 mg
2 mL100 mg
5 mL250 mg
10 mL500 mg

Clinical note: 100 mg dose requires 2 mL injection.

Option 2: 5 mL BWFI → 100 mg/mL (preferred for SubQ comfort)

Volume DrawnNAD+ Dose
0.5 mL50 mg
1 mL100 mg
2.5 mL250 mg
5 mL500 mg

Clinical note: 100 mg dose requires 1 mL injection.

Suggested Clinical Dosing

Common protocol: 100 mg subcutaneous injection twice weekly. At 50 mg/mL draw 2 mL; at 100 mg/mL draw 1 mL. Weekly total: 200 mg. Higher dosing may be divided across two injection sites.

Administration Steps

Recommended volume per site: 1–2 mL. Ideal concentration for comfort: 100 mg/mL. Rotate injection sites (abdomen, flank, posterior upper arm). Avoid exceeding 2 mL per single site.

  1. Clean injection site with alcohol swab; allow to dry.
  2. Draw dose with sterile syringe using aseptic technique.
  3. Pinch skin at abdomen or thigh to create subcutaneous pocket.
  4. Insert needle at 45–90° angle; inject slowly over 20–30 seconds per mL.
  5. Withdraw needle; apply gentle pressure with gauze.
  6. Dispose of syringe and needle in sharps container.
